PUERTO JIMENEZ - SIRENA - PUERTO JIMENEZ
Boat in / Boat out
Day 1: Initial Exploration of Sirena
We begin our exciting journey by meeting with the guide early in the morning, followed by a stop at the local bakery to enjoy a coffee. We head to the dock to board the boat at 5:30 am, which will take us from Puerto Jiménez to the beach at the Sirena station. The boat trip, approximately an hour and a half, will offer spectacular views of the coast.
Upon arriving in Sirena, there’s no dock, so we’ll need to disembark from the boat in sandals onto the shore. Once on solid ground, we’ll register with the park rangers and take a short hike to the lodge to drop off our luggage. Afterwards, we’ll delve into the trails of Corcovado National Park to discover the natural wealth of one of the most diverse ecosystems in the world. Throughout the day, we will explore the forest in the company of our experienced guide, looking for various species of wildlife in their natural habitat. We’ll take a lunch break at noon and, after a brief rest, continue with more hikes. At the end of the day, we will return to the station to prepare for dinner and spend the night in the comfortable lodge.
Day 2: Sunrise and Wildlife
We will rise early to go on a sunrise hike, in search of the tapir and other wildlife species that inhabit the region. We will enjoy the morning exploring the forest more deeply before returning to the lodge for a break and lunch. At midday, we will take the boat back to Puerto Jiménez, arriving around 2:00 pm.

Extended 3-Day/2-Night Tour: Total Immersion in the Jungle
If you opt for the 3-day and 2-night tour, we will dedicate the entire second day to exploring the rainforest in-depth, considered one of the last remnants of its kind in Central America. We will look for a greater diversity of species such as mammals, birds, rodents, and reptiles, enjoying the lush flora that surrounds us. We will spend the second night at the Sirena station.
The third day will begin with morning hikes, continuing our search and observation of wildlife. After lunch, we will head to the coast to take the boat back to Puerto Jiménez at 12:30 pm. With a bit of luck, we might spot dolphins and whales if the season permits. We will arrive in Puerto Jiménez around 2:00 pm.
