Our day begins early, we will take the transport at 6:00 am that will take us to Cabo Matapalo, we will start with a bird watching walk in the surroundings, where we can observe birds in different forest strata from grassland, gallery forest, undergrowth, secondary forest, as well as coastal environment.

Our departure will be at 5:00 am from Puerto Jiménez, in a 4x4 taxi, heading to Cabo Matapalo, once there, after a brief explanation of the tour by our tour guide and with a telescope and prepared field guides in hand, we will begin with a walk to search, observe and identify birds.

We leave from Puerto Jiménez at 5:40 pm towards Rio Nuevo. After a brief explanation from the guide and equipped with flashlights, this exciting night walk will begin through a dense forest that awakens an atmosphere of mystery and expectation. During the tour, we will look for mammals such as bats, kinkajous and opossums, accompanied by the singing of frogs and toads. Snakes, arachnids and insects are revealed in their natural habitat, while nocturnal birds complete this immersive adventure full of natural wonders that reign in the forest when night falls.
