Welcome to the second door of Corcovado park , this is the longest and hardest hike, for those who wants a real challenge ! 
Our departure is from Puerto Jimenez by the public bus at 5:30 am , to La Palma town , there our 4x4 taxi will wait for us , the trip continue crossing rivers on the road, around one and a half hour until get to the ranger station in Los Patos, to do the check in and start the adventure !! 
The first day the guide will take you into a very dense forest, where the trail is just wide for walk, after walking up and down , crossing rivers, looking for wild pigs, snakes, birds, insects, and for sure we will do some stops to eats some snacks and take pictures, the trek will be around 10 hours, to finally get to the Sirena Ranger station to have a dinner and sleep surounded for the dark in the heart of the forest 
On the second day, lets wake up very early to start the hike in the trail to La Leona, surrounding by the forest and bordering the cost, looking for more wild species, after walk around 8 hours finally get to Carate, to take the transport  back to Puerto Jimenez in the afternoon


IN CASE OF 3 DAYS / 2 NIGHTS : On the second day let's get up early and before the sunrise to do the first tour to Sirena trail to look for the Tapir, then return to the station for breakfast, and spend the day walking in the trails surrounding the station, looking for even more wildlife, we will have lunch in the jungle or at the station at noon, to then we can go to have a swim in the Rio Claro river , and after sunset walk back to the station to have dinner and sleep the second night, the last day wake up early to walk into forest and coast trails to carate and take the transport to Puerto Jimenez
